Bataan's Budget Friendly Resort

If you're looking for a quick getaway from the busy city life then travel to morong bataan! 

I cant count the number of times we've been here... 

Waterfront beach resort

The place is easy to find and can be search in waze. You can either take Sctex route or through san fernando if you like to sight see or have more stop over options. 😁

Its budget friendly as a room good for 4 will only cost you 2,000 php, 1 double deck and 1 double bed, airconditioned. No TV but the resort has a big projector that plays movies and concerts at night. Resort amenities include a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, pool table and a multipurpose hall. You can use the cottages for free.

Its may not be luxurious but the place is laid back and the staff is amazing... You dont need tl hit the bank to enjoy a nice break.

For big groups they have dormitories available.

 

Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort

We visited Cebu this month with some of our co-workers

For our first day we travel for 3-4 hours from Mactan Airport to Oslob to visit Bluewater Resort in Sumilon Island.

Its a private resort wherein guest can unwind and find serenity and peace of mind.

When we arrive  - we were welcome with an Ice cold drink to refresh our very much thirsty throats from the heat of the sun as we arrive around 12:00 noon.

From the mainland port we road a boat to go to the island.

Its a good 15 minute ride to Sumilon Island.

Welcome to Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort!!!

The place is filled with activities that everyone can enjoy!

Since we were a group of 15 we stayed at 4 of their villas - well I stayed together with 3 other people to villa no. 1

with 2 queen beds, a spacious bathroom, a grand veranda we have enough room to socialize and to really be comfortable in our stay. 

A few of the amenities that the resort offer are the infinity pool and Jacuzzi wherein couple or even families can enjoy. The pool are by the cliff so beware of sitting on the edges nevertheless the view is breathtaking and the ambiance is really relaxing!

They have a Pavilion where guest can enjoy good food. tho one of the cons is that the food can be a bit pricey for the serving. On the picture is their Lechon Kawali for Php 445.00 plus tax and service charge can cause one Php 548.24

It did taste good but I hope I can say the same for their beef steak. 

Anyways the resort also offers Snorkeling and Diving gear free of charge wherein you can enjoy their marine sanctuary

They also have sandbar and untouched beaches...

For people who love history and sightseeing - they have several trekking options that allows everyone to feel and learn more about the deep history behind Sumilon Island.

They also have a natural lagoon where everyone can enjoy kayaking around the mangroves.

They also have their own playground where kids can play.

I suggest to wait for promo as the price rates can be a bit steep. but overall the price is worth the stay!
