Swimming with the Gentle Giants! Whale Shark!

Hi there lovelies!

Some if not all of us have our bucket list.

Mine includes skyjumping, visiting Israel and having a deep in the dead sea, climbing famous mountains, diving, and a lot lot more.

and one of the first on my list was swimming with the Butanding (Whale Shark)

Here are a few things you'd need to know about this magnificent creatures.

• they are slow moving and the largest fish species extant.
• whale shark have large mouths and filter feeder
• It's against the law to touch them so we must maintain a distance of 4 feet however by chance that the shark swim towards you - one must relax and not panic to ensure the safety of the swimmer and the fish.

We travel to Oslob, Cebu to swim with these majestic creatures of the sea...

The cost of the boat and snorkeling gear depends if your a local, a Filipino or a foreigner.

The sharks normally can be seen early morning so Its advisable to come before 12 noon.

I was so excited finally one of my dreams is coming true! so when we rode the boat to the middle of the sea I was all giggling and couldn't contain my happiness..

When the bangkero (boatman) advised that we can jump in the water - well I was one of the first to put in my snorkeling gear and dive down, doing my best to make the littlest of splash as to not disturb the gentle giants.

When the time came that the fish came towards us a sudden fear, excite and happiness came through me - they were huge!

Well I wasn't prepared for that and my initial reaction is to back up..

but my fear disappeared and it was all excitement to see and really be fascinated on how big these fishes are and how lucky I am to have seen  and swim with them.

Sumilon Bluewater Island Resort

We visited Cebu this month with some of our co-workers

For our first day we travel for 3-4 hours from Mactan Airport to Oslob to visit Bluewater Resort in Sumilon Island.

Its a private resort wherein guest can unwind and find serenity and peace of mind.

When we arrive  - we were welcome with an Ice cold drink to refresh our very much thirsty throats from the heat of the sun as we arrive around 12:00 noon.

From the mainland port we road a boat to go to the island.

Its a good 15 minute ride to Sumilon Island.

Welcome to Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort!!!

The place is filled with activities that everyone can enjoy!

Since we were a group of 15 we stayed at 4 of their villas - well I stayed together with 3 other people to villa no. 1

with 2 queen beds, a spacious bathroom, a grand veranda we have enough room to socialize and to really be comfortable in our stay. 

A few of the amenities that the resort offer are the infinity pool and Jacuzzi wherein couple or even families can enjoy. The pool are by the cliff so beware of sitting on the edges nevertheless the view is breathtaking and the ambiance is really relaxing!

They have a Pavilion where guest can enjoy good food. tho one of the cons is that the food can be a bit pricey for the serving. On the picture is their Lechon Kawali for Php 445.00 plus tax and service charge can cause one Php 548.24

It did taste good but I hope I can say the same for their beef steak. 

Anyways the resort also offers Snorkeling and Diving gear free of charge wherein you can enjoy their marine sanctuary

They also have sandbar and untouched beaches...

For people who love history and sightseeing - they have several trekking options that allows everyone to feel and learn more about the deep history behind Sumilon Island.

They also have a natural lagoon where everyone can enjoy kayaking around the mangroves.

They also have their own playground where kids can play.

I suggest to wait for promo as the price rates can be a bit steep. but overall the price is worth the stay!

Hi Everyone -

Been contemplating for a while now on how I would get back into blogging.

Thought of using my old blogs again and start where I left however I really don't feel picking up on old blogs that I was never able to finish. Ideas I never really started working on so in the end I decided to create a new blog..

A diary.

Wherein I can share with everyone my thoughts on almost everything...

But first let me introduce myself

I'm a mom to a one four-year old boy - my love of my life and the best blessing God has ever given.
I'm a makeup artist - tho I haven't really practice my craft for a while now but still and definitely still love everything about make up and beauty.
I love travelling and seeking new adventures.
I'm a fan of k-dramas, one piece and a lot of US series... 
I love photography 
I love crafting and organizing my planner
I love shopping!! - come on who doesn't
and I am a Filipino. 

I guess these are just a few of the things I am right now that I can think of...but I know I may be a lot of things but I'm just a simple girl living a life in the busy city of Manila. Trying to start a family and hoping to be successful one day. I believe that everyone is a simple girl trying to live the life of their dreams and one day hopefully we will be able to live in it.

And with this blog I'll be sharing my thoughts and views on a lot o f things..
